Invitation to West Coast Environmental Law’s Dialogue for Legal Innovation Series: Emerging Solutions for Clean, Green Power Dia
Posted December 21st, 2009
West Coast Environmental Law invites you to join us on Monday, January 11th, 2010, as an audience participant at a dialogue on concrete legal and policy solutions for truly clean, green, renewable electricity generation in BC.
Clean, green electricity generation has a vital role to play in the environmental and economic future of BC, but this potential can only be fulfilled if we create workable solutions to the widespread concerns about how renewable energy is currently being planned, promoted and developed in BC.
Recent events, including the SFU “Building a Vision for Green Energy” conference in November 2009, suggest that many in BC are ready to move past what has at times been a challenging and divisive debate on this topic. For this reason, West Coast Environmental Law will host the Emerging Solutions for Clean, Green Power Dialogue. The dialogue will be seeded by short presentations by West Coast Environmental Law and others to introduce and explore possible solutions for responsible, sustainable renewable electricity development. The principal focus, however, will be on a high-level facilitated dialogue among the following participants.
