Our society runs on energy. And energy in BC, over the past four decades, has been owned by the province and its people. Public power generation transformed our province. Now the Gordon Campbell Liberal government is dismantling our public power system – starting with BC Hydro – to create a private power market. Private power is more expensive for you, the consumer. It can be more destructive to our environment. And it may not be available to BC businesses.
