Issues of Interest:

This section of our website has been set up to provide British Columbians with essential information on a range of topics associated with public power in BC. Questions and answers will be posted each month on issues related to the provincial government's Energy Plan and legislation, the public and private energy industries, privatization and deregulation, energy-related technologies, and environmental impacts.

Have a question?

We welcome your questions. If you have a question or concern that you think might be shared by other British Columbians, send us an email. For clarity, try to keep your questions brief. Our website moderator will review all questions submitted and assess them in relation to BCCPP’s mandate as well as the current relevance of the issue. We regret that we are unable to provide individual responses to questions.

Questions selected for inclusion on our website will first be reviewed by one or more of our members or consultants with interest and expertise on that specific topic or area. The issue may require additional consultation or further research. Finally, brief and general answers—approximately 150 – 250 words—will be prepared and uploaded to our website, along with some suggestions for further reading on the subject.
